It's Friday, so I'm back with the weekly roundup of the best tech deals our team has featured recently on The Verge. (It's a cool website; you should read it sometime.) The name "WH-1000XM4" doesn't really express that these are headphones — and very good ones at that. Sony's best wireless noise-canceling headphones are $72 off at several retailers, bringing them down to $278. This matches the lowest price we saw during shopping events like Black Friday last year.
Compared to other models in this price range, these have superior sound quality, a strong noise-cancellation effect, and they are quite comfortable to wear.

Get a $20 gift card with the purchase of a Switch Lite
Nintendo's Switch Lite console has never seen an actual price drop, but this week's ongoing promotion happening at a few retailers comes close to being one. If you buy a Switch Lite, you'll get a $20 gift card from the retailer you purchased it from. You can use the gift card on anything you want. But if you're taking suggestions, get a microSD card or a game to go along with your new portable console.
Amazon's spherical Echo Dot with a clock is 25 percent off
The latest Echo Dot has a round shape and better sound, and you can get a deal on it right now through both Amazon and Best Buy. Both stores have knocked 25 percent off the model that has an LED clock built in, which brings the final cost to $45. The clock is nice to have so you don't need to ask Alexa for such a simple request. Additionally, the display can show the volume level or the temperature outside.
